Q: How do I place an order online?
A: I work hard to make my site one of the easiest to navigate and to place orders. To add items to your shopping cart, click through my catalog. Once you have found an item you want to purchase, click on "Add to Cart". You can then modify the quantity of an item by entering a new number and click on the "Update Quantities" button. To remove an item, simply click the "Remove" link next to the item in your cart or you can enter 0 (zero) into the quantity field, and click "Update Quantities". To check out and place the order, simply click on "Check Out", and follow the instructions.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: I use a secure shopping cart via ECI-Pay (http://www.eci-corp.com)

- I also accept checks and money orders through the mail.

Q: Do I have to pay sales tax?
A: Only if you are a resident of Iowa. I am required by law to collect all applicable sales tax in the state of Iowa only.

Q: Is ordering through your site secure?
A: Yes. I use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption for the exchange of personal and payment information.When placing an order, you will notice the URL will change from HTTP to HTTPS, and you may also see a solid key or lock in the lower left-hand corner of your window indicating security encryption has taken place. This means you can safely enter your entire credit card number and it cannot be read in transit.

Q: Do you print a catalog?
A: No, I don't. My online catalog is very dynamic; it wouldn't be practical to have a printed version. It could be obsolete by the time you'd get it in the mail!! Just check my site regularly to see all the new products or join our email notification list (to the left at all times). I'll e-mail every time I add new products or have any seasonal promotion. You will also receive excellent discounts and special pricing.

Q: What kind of glassware is best used?
A: Almost any good glassware can be used. Do not use thin glass or glass that will not handle heat. Use a tempered glass instead. Do not use plastic or wood containers. Glassware like coffee mugs, beer glasses, ivy bowls and votives can be used.

Q: I know I should trim the wick but what is the best way?
A: The easiest way to trim the wick would be just to use a nail clipper. The clipper prevents the burned wick from dropping back into the candle and snips the wick cleanly.

Q: How can I get my wick to stand up straight once I have poured the soy wax candle?
A: Make a hole in the center of a popsicle stick, slip the tip of the wick through the hole and this will hold the wick in place.

Q: How far down should I allow my soy candle to burn?
A: There is no reason to burn your candle to the very bottom. You may risk a potential fire problem or crack your container if you do. Burn the candle to about 1/4" up from the bottom.
